Eva, Desmond and Frank. They had an impact

Quick update on the Snowdon 660kw hydro. It has done well in the last 12 months. But really its has done well in its second year and especially in the last two months. The saying every cloud has a silver lining could have been written for hydros and especially this one in the last two months of the year. the storms have caused havoc across the UK and many of my friends have been impacted

Overall quite pleased considering we only budgeted 1.5m kwh this year

this is what the last 12 months or over 2million kwh of generation look like at Hafod y Llan. notice the slight anomaly in the last two months... only slight!

This is what the last 12 months or over 2 million kwh of generation look like at Hafod y Llan. Notice the slight anomaly in the last two months… only slight! The load factor (% of generation over the year) is down on an average high head hydro but given we allow quite a lot of water over the waterfall we beat our budget of 1.5m kwh by a little!
