A great Green Champions Workshop

By Charis Fowler:

Yesterday we had another of our Midlands Green Champion Workshops.  I found it great (even if I did arrange it myself!).  We all got together at the Wolseley Sustainable Building Centre at Leamington Spa.  Not only was the venue great, but we had a fantastic presentation and tour of the building, showing us all the technologies and construction materials on display, provided by Tim Pollard, Wolseley’s Head of Sustainability.

There was a real buzz during the day with everyone sharing experiences and engaging with each other – what a wonderful way to learn.  I found it really motivating and it’s made me want to get back to the ‘coal face’ and keep doing for more.  My only worry is I may now have set the expectation bar quite high for our next workshop!

All the delegates who attended, or sent their apologies, will receive some notes from the day in due course.

Glad you had a useful and productive workshop. Great venue by the way! I went there a few years ago, before I joined the Trust.
