Hafod y Llan on Snowdon in Autumn is a stunning place. The hydro building is now within a few weeks of completion. It’s a bit ‘spaghetti like’ inside the turbine building at the moment. Quite a few hundreds of meters of wiring involved in generating electricity…it was all on show today. Few more weeks and Gilkes will be back to start the long process of commissioning

Substation on the right. once this is handed over to Scottish Power we worn be allowed back in!
