Its been a good week what with the launch of the Fit for the future network but also Paul received the superb information on Monday that the 300kw Plas Newydd Marine Source Heat Pump is now good to go. He has had to deal with a  another level of licences, approvals and paperwork but that’s another blog . The third bit of good news is that  Craflwyn or actually Afon y Cwm  river hydro to be completely accurate has also received planning permission this week and work to start building can progress in the next week. Can’t wait! 100kw hydro with a 120 meter head using the site of the previous hydro weir  (no such thing as a new idea!) Many more blogs to come on these as we learn. These are two of the 5 National Trust renewable energy program pilots to get the planning permission green light. Others close on our heels. More to come!divers-menai-straits-2
