Taking the theme of ‘bringing the outside, inside’ too literally

Whilst most of us love the idea of garden rooms, conservatories and ‘bringing the outside, inside’ sometimes it seems we’ve gone a little too far… albeit by accident!

This is a wonderful example of how poorly fitting some of our windows are. Forget the ambition of secondary glazing, our single-glazing windows don’t even keep the weather out….and as you can see, I’m not even talking about the need for draught stripping – you could get your hand through here!

This is why it is so worthwhile doing property walkovers, I’ve not spotted this before – perhaps because a large box is often used to keep the draughts (or should that be a gale?) out! I’ll now be helping the property to remedy this ahead of the heating season.
