The last few of days has involved a lot of walking up various hydro’s with different groups sharing the lessons and spreading the message. Earlier it was English Heritage and Tue was a very cold day of filming with a team from Swindon sharing our experiences of Hafod y Llan and how special it is. We also discussed how this work will be building the next layer of history namely on the farm through the drive to grow  energy by harnessing the areas resources. (wow it was a cold day) Wed was a nice day with colleagues from the Midlands and the North East. We spent the day discussing micro hydros with the TGV team with colleagues who are working on a 12kw hydro in Carding Mill valley. This led to a debate on the pros and cons of share ownership, micro hydro development and working in partnership with communities. Gavin kindly joined us from the Anafon community project to share his thoughts on working with the National Trust. Doing the work is important, sharing the lessons is just as important

Filming crew. Very cold and it got very snowy. we should start charging welly hire!
