Quick blog on something i came across yesterday in Pembrokeshire. Heritage and Heavy industry. I was down for two days to complete the environmental reviews for Pembrokeshire Coast National Park as part of the external consultancy work evaluation we have been undertaking. Started in Carew Castle yesterday morning. One of my favorite sites in Pembrokeshire especially the near-by tidal mill (one of only six left in the country) Then on to the more familiar visitor centers and offices. It was good to see the authority moving into renewable in a serious way. The 100kw Froling biomass at their HQ is a nice piece of kit and well designed in terms of installation. But it’s always good to get another pair of eyes looking at how you manage stuff. on in the evening to photograph Pembroke Dock and Milford Haven. The place is surreal in terms of huge industry in a sublime seascape
